“I see my friend sad
I tell him to change his face
Be happy my friend”

#hapifriend

There is no explanation for this sticker.. just a Haiku and a new friend to us all. It’s quite cheap to get things done in Korea, so I tend to get silly things printed, this one will make its mark across Auckland (and beyond) via instagram.

If you see me around and want a few stickers, hit me up- I tend to carry them on me on a daily basis. Alternatively when i’m less lazy (and poor) i’ll mail some abroad..

Field Day in New York City

/Field Day in NYC, September 2012
- Logic – As I Am

I always film with the intention of making a short little clip when I travel, but when I reach the airport with bags packed I always give up.. it’s such a hassle to carry around cameras all the time. Digital, 35mm film, polaroid.. I look like a tourist. Always. It’s not until the trip is halfway through do I remember the small joy I get from making and putting up these clips. So this video is like every other, a glimpse into the daily life (halfway through the trip) in NYC.

01. Field Day In New York Stamp ’12

I haven’t really explained the whole ‘Field Day’ project much, though I don’t really intend to at this point. I wouldn’t expect anything to come about from this project until next year.. until then you can expect mini collabs, little experiments coming from me as I gear up towards it. Soft beginnings.

Ps. I’ll be in New York next month if anyone wants to hang out/show me around..

The Monsoon Season/Field Day Project

01. The Monsoon Season/Auckland to Seoul sticker. www.field-day.co

Field Day Project is a little something on the side i’ve been thinking about lately, something to focus on aside from my photography practice. No finished projects as of yet.. but you’ve got to start somewhere, and that somewhere begins with a small project i’ve started with a group in Seoul. No names to be mentioned right now, but you’ll be sure to know when it does.

I have a few stickers to give out before I go overseas, so if you’d like one just drop a comment, or an email.. maybe just stop me on the street if you see me.
