Just went riding with a few new bike kids down at Wynyard Quarter. Beers and Bikes. Finally felt like summer again. Hopefully it’ll be a regular thing.
Two-wheeled anything. Mostly fixed gear though..
/Ben and Hal’e (ex-Qubic crew) at adidas Originals
After 29 or so months, yesterday (Friday the 31st of August) I finished my design and floor role at Qubic Store. It’s strange to not have work this coming monday.. but there are a few things to come, and a few changes i’d like to tackle but it’s all on from here. No words on the matter, just a thank you to the staff old and new.
Last night was the adidas Originals Represent party down at Shed 6. CGK boys won (obviously) with THIS video, now they’re on their way as adidas ambassadors for New Zealand (I don’t know what that means, but it sounds pretty awesome). An early, but silly night- i’m sure photos and (especially) videos will surface soon of wobbly noodle video bomb dancing..!
I haven’t been doing much of anything lately. Gearing up for a little trip away soon and preparing for exhibitions. Having a blog circulating around your life seems a little pointless at times when my there isn’t much to report. I have on the other hand been trying bar spins lately- and as of last night double bar spins, though my permanently black and blue knees contradict the progress made by this picture.
One more video.. the official one. I thought it deserved to have a space on this blog.
I’ve been on a bike buzz lately.. riding til I die (almost literally.. the other night I had to call my dad at 2am because I couldn’t ride, let alone walk.. On the upside, I’m learning barspins- I can do them ok stationary, it won’t be long before I try them moving). So I miss out on Fixie Picnic Weekend (AGAIN!!) but i’m always graced with the awesome videos that come from events like them.
Last week was the second year for Red Bul’s Ride N Style in San Francisco. It seems FGFS has come a long way since last years event.. I just don’t even know what to think of it now..
A follow up to the bike check I did back in Seoul last year. A few changes have been made in preparation for another trip back to Korea (last time my headset was completely ruined from the rain)! A lighter, stronger, and little more water-resistant build!

This has been out for a while, but when it first did embedding was restricted to Prolly Not Probably so I didn’t bother to post it (until now). I haven’t been riding that much.. I haven’t been doing much of anything other than photo editing to be honest.. especially these past couple days. Big things to come. In the mean time, watch this. Makes me want to ride more.
Art in the morning, riding in the evening. A well balanced diet.
I feel like a hipster watching this. ..but what can I say. I like bikes, pretty girls, Daniel Johnston and everything filmed in slow motion.
