International BFF

Every time I part ways with Numi we always talk about how we’ll see each other somewhere in the world.. New Zealand, Spain, Japan, Seoul, New York… There’s never security of when we’ll meet again, a week possibly, a month maybe, a year more likely. Having had June and July in Seoul with her I didn’t really expect we’d cross paths for a long time, so finding her again in New York was a nice surprise. Crossing dates in NY for just a day (her stopping by on her way back to Spain, me on my way home) we had planned a lot for such short hours. So happy to see her, we always have so much to catch up on- she just got new tattoos too, I ..have new clothes? longer hair? hmm. We originally intended to go to Coney Island but of course a bit of the monsoon season must have followed her here. Instead we walked the streets of Soho, Chinatown and East Side.. Coffee at Saturdays Surf NYC, Evolution (this awesome taxidermy store), Toy Tokyo, Drinking Slushies! Eating Cupcakes from Sunshine Cupcake, Chari and Co, Vans DQM, Supreme, Bape, Stussy, Staple, Self Edge, Fun City Tattoo..everything we have in common basically. So much walking, so much to see.
