Twenty Four

/I have only one photo from the past 36 hours. The rest is video or film.. so this one will do~

If I could live these twenty four hours over, and over again, I’d be in some eternal bliss. There is nothing i’d change about that day. Last I wrote about an early goodbye, the surprise of doing it over again is crushing inside, but nothing to regret. I can only tell you how happy my last day in Seoul was.

The day did not begin until late, a hangover and a particularly bad one, I didn’t manage to get out of the house until 4pm. Bags, now packed (and overflowing), I met with Yura for a very late lunch, 해장국 ‘hangover treasure’ as she called it, and to see The Dark Knight Rises. Perhaps way too much emotion for one day, we choked throughout the entire movie and for hours after.. no spoilers to come, just want to say what an incredible movie.. what a huge mind fuck. I go a little crazy over Batman.. last year I saw the Dark Knight a good seven times in theatre, so this without a doubt will not be the only time I see the new film.

What starts with Namoo, ends with Namoo. On the first night, I arrived I had a particularly um.. overwhelming experience, this was a lot calmer by comparison. A three shot celebratory drink from Namoo, and a few beers to end the night. After the giant mind fuck that was from Batman had subsided and as the reality of leaving came too, we said long goodbyes and sat in the warmest embrace until it was time to go.

The last goodbye at the airport is another moment in itself. Next time I don’t want to say goodbye, i’ll just stay forever.
