To Seoul again one day soon.. I will miss thee.
I’m done! that’s it! two months of travel. I’ve now got to go back to work, to make photos again, to see familiar faces and to work more and more so I can go back again. I think airports are big emotional buckets, places to leave people. I’m sitting here in the Hong Kong airport and the place is literally full.. So many flights have been grounded- delayed or even cancelled today thanks to mr Typhoon. There’s even a line for people waiting to get into the pay-lounge! Sitting in Seoul airport to Hong Kong airport i’ve had a lot of time to think:
You’ve really got to respect the people you met, the friends you have and the ones to be. It’s been a good two months of traveling (I would say the world, but it’s just Seoul and Paris.. and flying OVER everywhere else), and i’ve been pretty blessed with those i’ve encountered. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming I find it hard to think if home would be the same to meeting strangers across the globe.. Korea has been a pretty special place. Whatever the case, I take some of it home with me.. so i’ll certainly be more open to it from now on.
Most of all i’m just happy I went back to Seoul. I didn’t get to see everybody, but for those I did i’m really glad I made the decision to go back and see them again just one more time.
Boarding now for home.
